Amari Kent has withdrawn from his Toxic Tag Brooklyn Championship defense against Ricky Rodriguez as he steps back from professional wrestling to deal with a personal matter. Sources close to the inaugural FIGHT! NYC Brooklyn Champion say that the passing of a close family member caused Amari to re-evaluate the importance of family and travelling back and forth to New York wouldn’t be possible.

Everybody at the FIGHT! family wishes Amari Kent and North Wynters the best and hope that in time the burden becomes easier to deal with. FIGHT! NYC’s Head Liaison Miss F has stated that if and when Amari is ready to return to New York, he will be granted an immediate rematch for the FIGHT! NYC Brooklyn Championship.

In regards to Toxic Tag, the now vacant Brooklyn Championship will be contented for by the original contender, Ricky Rodriguez, and he will take on both participants in the #1 Contendership match – Mason Alexander Vanderbilt and The Enforcer.
