Damon Riggs Statement
Date: 6th Sep 2021
Following the previous news that his daughter and Sahara were recently kidnapped by men in tactical gear, FIGHT! NYC color commentator Damon “HavoK” Riggs has released a statement with further information about what happened and how.
“Thank you all for your time, I’ll try to make this as brief as possible. My daughter Allison and friend Sahara are perfectly safe. This has all been over-blown, and information got out faster than I could put it to bed.”
“Last night my private security contractor Ryan Bishop and his men, Phoenix Squad, did in fact pick up both Allison and Sahara from two separate locations.”
“Allison is friends with Bishop and his men, my son in law Dane Preston does contract work with them when they need a driver. Bishop wasn’t comfortable with taking Allison forcefully, but Sahara wasn’t as fortunate.”
“If you’ve seen the movie The Game with Michael Douglas, you’ll see what I was trying to do. Be that as it may, both girls are sitting on an island in the Caribbean, a women’s retreat if you will. I put this together to help them heal and work out their issues.”
“At this time I would like to apologize to our friends and peers in FIGHT! and at the Velvet Rabbit. I was merely focused on getting the girls out of New York and into paradise so they could focus on resolving their issues. It was not my intent to disrupt businesses, upset our peers and fans, or to waste the time of our security teams and law enforcement agencies. Thank you.”
