[ Wrestling Style: While some would call her a "high flyer", her style is better viewed as "high impact". She will avoid doing high flying moves when and if she can, but use them when necessary. Her wrestling mindset is that of a showman -- such that if the fans don't have time to process what's happening in the ring, then it didn't happen/doesn't matter anyway. She will play to the fans to draw them into the show, whether they love her or hate her.

Sahara should be shown botching higher risk moves from time to time, after all, that's why they're called high risk/high reward. This move set was designed specifically to counter the potential size difference between her and her opponents, literally transforming her body into a 180+ pound projectile weapon. Due to the inherent risk with some of these moves, which are meant to level the playing field, she will sometimes take extreme chances that can result in either failure or success. ]

SIGNATURE MOVES:

Flight of the Valkyrie [From the outside/ring apron, springboard Superman Punch]

FINISHING MOVE:

Valhalla Falls [Coup de Grâce]

BIOGRAPHY:

Sahara, real name Lauren MacKay-Mirra, was born into a wrestling family, living and breathing the industry throughout her young life. Her family owned a small promotion that peaked in the late 1990’s during the beginning of the "wrestling wars", when larger promotions began to move in and take over the industry. Throughout her childhood, Lauren learned the in's and out’s of wrestling, meeting many stars along the way.

After her entry into the wrestling world as a "on-air talent", though she found early success, she inevitably ran into the glass ceiling which was much more prevalent at the time. The idea of a woman contender, let alone a champion wasn’t a widely accepted idea in the early 2000's. Sahara became increasingly disillusioned by the emergence of the “bra-and-panties” era that turned woman wrestlers into a sideshow act for adolescents. Shortly after, Sahara left the wrestling scene in disgust.

It wasn't until years later, on April 20th, 2016, that Sahara unexpectedly returned in an officially sanctioned EWA series entitled, “All Bad Things”. Upon her return to in-ring action she was met with a harsh reality check. After a series of demoralizing losses during the ensuing months that followed, she was sat down by management and given an ultimatum; either make an impact or it was time to call it quits. Desperate to save her career, Sahara found herself in a position where the limits of what she was willing to do in order to win no longer existed. Again in a position to lose, Sahara threw caution to the wind and incited what became known as the “Tokyo Vampire Incident”. The bloody sequence of on-air events instantly transformed her into something worth talking about.

On August 8th, 2016, at a show called Live from Tokyo, Sahara -- now known as the Crimson Queen -- had finally arrived. After that, success seemed to come easy, as she went on to win a multiple championships, including a stint as the world champion.

This is where she met Dane Preston, Allison-Riggs Preston, and Murphy Doyle Maher.

In 2018, the EWA closed down, and Sahara all but disappeared from the wrestling scene. It wouldn't be until 2021 that she'd receive a mysterious invitation from FIGHTNYC, where she'd make her return.

And this is where her story begins again...
